Young Muslim Digest

India · Monthly magazine, publisher (IQRA Publications)

Young Muslim Digest is an English-language Islamic monthly published in India by IQRA Publications. By its own account it is written for Western-educated and Western-influenced Muslim youth, and holds to the understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah followed by the early generations and the majority of scholars after them. It also reports having been licensed for distribution in Saudi Arabia.

The magazine ran regular columns on the Qur’an and the Hadith, an editorial each month, a children’s column, and pieces on society, human rights, economics, science, education and history, with interviews, profiles and book reviews. IQRA Publications also issues books, among them a tafsir, an introduction to Arabic through Islamic texts and an educational encyclopedia of Islam.

This page holds an archival copy of the magazine’s articles as they appeared on its website, so that they are not lost if the site changes. Each article names its writer where the magazine does, and links back to the original. News flashes and event notices are not included. Copyright stays with IQRA Publications; any item is removed on request.
